Welcome to PS Home Maintenance. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website https://www.pshomemaintenance.com/ and any home maintenance, repair, installation, or related services we provide. By using the Site or booking Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or engage our Services.

1. Scope & Acceptance

  1. These Terms apply to all users of the Site and all clients receiving Services from PS Home Maintenance.
  2. You accept and agree to be bound by these Terms as well as any other policies we post, such as Privacy Policy, Warranty Terms, etc.

2. Service Requests, Bookings & Confirmations

  1. You can request Services via our website, phone, email, or other channels we provide.
  2. After your request, PS Home Maintenance will provide a confirmation (which may include the scope of work, price estimate, and schedule) prior to performing Services.
  3. Any changes to scope, timing, or price must be agreed in writing (email, SMS, or other traceable form) before we proceed.

3. Pricing, Payment & Refunds

  1. Prices for Services will be as quoted in the confirmation provided to you. If there are additional requirements (e.g. extra materials, unexpected conditions), we will inform you of additional costs.
  2. Payment should be made via the methods we accept (e.g. credit card, bank transfer, cash). Terms for payment (e.g. deposit, final payment) will be specified in your service order/confirmation.
  3. Refunds: In general, once work has been dispatched or started, payments are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Access, Delays, & Client Responsibilities

  1. You must ensure PS Home Maintenance staff or contractors have suitable access to your property, tools, utilities (e.g. electricity, water, space) needed for the job.
  2. If work is delayed because of no access, unsafe conditions, or failure by you to provide required information, you may be charged additional fees or rescheduling charges.
  3. Client is responsible for moving fragile items, clearing the work area, protecting belongings, covering floors or furniture if necessary, etc.

5. Materials & Workmanship

  1. PS Home Maintenance will use materials that are reasonably appropriate for the job. Where you specify materials or brands, you may bear additional cost.
  2. We aim to carry out Services professionally and with reasonable care.
  3. Any warranty on workmanship or materials will be as specified separately (e.g. in your service contract, invoice, or warranty policy). For example, defects caused by our workmanship may be rectified within a warranty period.
  4. Damages arising from hidden or concealed defects (e.g. concealed wiring, piping, structures) will be subject to inspection; we will inform you if additional work or cost is needed once detected.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

  1. All Services are provided “as is” except for warranties expressly given in writing. We make no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond what is written.
  2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PS Home Maintenance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of use, loss of profit, damage to property) arising from or connected with the Services or Site.
  3. Our maximum liability for any claim related to our Services shall be limited to the amount you paid for those Services under the order giving rise to the claim.

7. User Conduct & Restrictions

  1. You agree not to post or submit content that infringes on others’ rights (copyright, trademark, privacy), which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, or otherwise objectionable.
  2. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide (address, contact, job details).

8. Intellectual Property

  1. All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, images, software) is owned by or licensed to PSHM.
  2. You may view, download, or print pages purely for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright and proprietary notices intact.
  3. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or otherwise use the Site’s content for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

9. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  1. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked service, please notify us as early as possible (e.g. at least before scheduled time).
  2. We may charge cancellation or rescheduling fees if notice is insufficient or if work has already been allocated or started.
  3. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, emergencies, supply issues); if so, we will notify you and arrange a new appointment.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, governmental orders, pandemics, strikes, supply chain issues, etc.). Such events may lead to rescheduling or modification of the Services.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PS Home Maintenance, its employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from any claim or loss (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or any misleading or false information you provide.

12. Termination

  1. We may refuse service, suspend services, or terminate the service agreement at any time if you breach these Terms or for safety, legal, or operational concerns.
  2. Upon termination, any unpaid fees or costs incurred remain payable.

13. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

  1. These Terms and any disputes arising from them will be governed by the laws of Singapore.
  2. Any disputes will be resolved in court, unless both parties agree to another method (e.g. mediation, arbitration).

14. Amendments

  1. PS Home Maintenance reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time.
  2. Changes take effect once posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or Services after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any service order/confirmation, warranty document, Privacy Policy, and any other policies we post, constitute the entire agreement between you and PS Home Maintenance with respect to the Services and Site, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
